Founded in 2025, Binghamton Voices of Equity is one of the growing collegiate chapters of The Voices of Equity, a national initiative uniting students across campuses to confront systemic inequalities in healthcare.
We started with a simple goal: to make conversations about health equity accessible, engaging, and action-driven. Today, our chapter brings together students from diverse backgrounds to educate peers, serve our community, and advocate for lasting change.
Our mission is to educate, inspire, and empower students to lead with empathy and equity.
We achieve this through three core pillars:
Education — Promoting health literacy and awareness through workshops and public outreach.
Inspiration — Sharing stories that humanize health disparities and uplift diverse voices.
Empowerment — Building community partnerships and creating opportunities for students to act.
